Mission

The University Budget Office facilitates the development and management of accurate and responsible budgets at all levels within Stanford University. We provide forecasting models that support resource allocation decisions, conduct analyses of current issues facing higher education, contribute to the development of university financial policies, and administer the university’s budgeting system. We strive to deliver excellent customer service, analytical support, education, and guidance on best practices for using the budget to promote strong financial management throughout the university.
